Learning outcomes |
The objective of KMA/BE1 is to develop the language skills of business English and to acquire useful skills for working in international companies. The course focuses on building vocabulary, developing reading and listening with understanding and promoting speaking skills, all within the selected topics. The course includes case studies enabling the students to get a real insight into the problems, to discuss them, to consider their solutions, and to improve argumentation skills and team work.

Students must have a minimum language level in English of level B1 of the Common European Framework for Languages.

Assessment methods and criteria |
Written exam, Analysis of linguistic
Students are required to attend lessons - a student can miss 2 sessions only; to pass the credit test with a minimum result of 70% and pass an oral exam successfully. The final grade is based on the result of the credit test, active participation during the semester, and the result of the oral examination. |
