Course content
|
Developmental psychology and its integration into the system of psychological disciplines. Basic theories of developmental psychology focusing on intellectual development, psychosexual development, psychosocial development, and the development of moral reasoning. The different stages of life and their developmental characteristics: prenatal development, newborn, infant, toddler, school age, adolescence, adulthood, old age.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is: - to introduce students to developmental psychology as a science - clarify the basic concepts of the field - introduce the most important and influential theories of human development - introduce students to all developmental periods in human life
Students will be able to navigate the most important theories and issues in developmental psychology and apply them to practice.
