Course content
Basic knowledge of hygiene, health education, human variability in time and space, developmental anthropology with emphasis on the development of children and youth, their disorders and diseases.

Learning outcomes
The course will introduce students to anthropological concepts, theories, its relationship to philosophical anthropology, and contemporary views of the problem of education. Students will learn about hygiene, health education, human variability in time and space, developmental anthropology with emphasis on the development of children and youth, their disorders and diseases. Basic terms and content from cultural and ethnic anthropology will also be mentioned.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Study of required and recommended literature and materials on individual topics that will be discussed and debated during lectures. Completion of the colloquium - for the colloquium students will prepare two infographics: 1. infographic on the selected developmental period in terms of physiology; 2. infographic with information about the selected nation, ethnic group in relation to the pedagogical approach. During the colloquium learners will present their findings to others and answer additional questions related to the topics discussed during the lectures. Learners with an individual plan: - Self-study of literature and materials listed in Moodle, continuous written assignments there. - completion of the colloquium with the above requirements
