Course content
- Pedagogical diagnostics - history, paradigms, pedagogical diagnosis, the subject of pedagogical diagnostics, the process of pedagogical diagnostics - Strategies in pedagogical diagnostics - Methods of pedagogical diagnostics - Diagnosis of individual areas (school maturity, teacher and pupil, teacher self-diagnostics,Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders, specific learning difficulties, specific learning disabilities, basics of family diagnostics, school social climate, projective methods)

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject Pedagogical diagnostics is to: - familiarize students with the historical foundations of educational diagnostics - provide students the theoretical basics of educational diagnostics - identify basic diagnostic situation in the learning process - introduce basic diagnostic methods and their practical usage. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students will gain knowledge and abilities usable in the pedagogical-diagnostic process. Students will understand the strategies and methods in pedagogical diagnostics. They will be able to make pedagogical diagnosis in selected areas.

Oral exam, Written exam, Seminar Work

- active participation in the seminars (3 possible absences) - fulfilments of given tasks within the specified date Long task - seminar paper (based on practic work with specific diagnostic method, it is necesary to fulfil this work till 31. 12. 2014 - pass final test successfully (at least 70%) colloquium students must be registered through the portal UP The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
