Course content
|
The course focuses on both the form of a persuasive speech and its content. It also deals with planning and delivering the speech. The topics concern useful phrases and grammar, non-verbal language, and visuals in case of using the power point presentation. It also help the students to deal with the stress of holding a speech in front of audience.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to teach students the principles of a good and persuasive speech in English.
The students will acquire abilities necessary for a good speech and presentation in English.

No prerequisities.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance
Active participation in seminars and a presentation in English. In the case of an Individual Study Plan, the student will also prepare an additional presentation.
