Course content
The pedagogue should be an able socio-educational reflection of various social phenomena, including social pathology. Based on the extent of social importance, it is possible to classify socially pathological phenomena and dangerous. Among the adverse socio-pathological phenomena are ranked eg. Poverty, unemployment, homelessness, eating disorders, such as dangerous then. Bullying, domestic violence, racism or sectarianism. The pedagogue should have only a basic understanding of the various types of social phenomena but should be able to various phenomena in practice to diagnose. On the basis of the differential diagnosis should then be able to design appropriate prevention and intervention.

Learning outcomes
- Knowledge of the characteristics of individual pathological social phenomena - Knowledge of social pathologies according to various social groups - Competence for assessing the severity of social pathologies among different social groups - The skills and abilities needed for differential diagnosis of various phenomena - Skill and ability on the basis of differential diagnosis and develop preventive intervention program
- Extended theoretical basis for practice in social pedagogy - Interdisciplinary perspective - Competence to the organization, implementation and use of diagnostic procedures - Competence to create of individual plans for different social groups

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Based on specific case studies student performs differential diagnosis, the socially pathological phenomenon thus named are assigned to the theoretical framework and propose preventive and intervention measures.
