The identity of catechesis compared to other forms of ministry of the word.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to introduce the student to the theological foundations of the Church's catechesis and show her place in the process of evangelization.
The student will gain an overview and orientation in the field of catechetics as a scientific field.

Prerequisites
|
sufficient knowledge of foreign languages, ability to think creatively on the topics discussed.

Assessment methods and criteria

Oral exam, Student performance
Students are required to study literature (including foreign language literature) and, if necessary, to successfully complete the assigned tasks. The student must be able to defend the assignment in accordance with the theoretical foundations of catechetics. In the oral examination, the student must demonstrate an understanding of the basic theoretical concepts of catechetics and the ability to formulate them. In addition, the ability to apply catechetical theory to specific standard and non-standard life situations of the catechized is expected. It is desirable for the learner to use the course syllabus once it is made available in the MOODLE e-learning environment.
