1. Sign language - the characteristic, the basic rules 2. Conversation topics: - persons - properties or characteristics - profession - home, town - weather, seasons, months, time - leisure 3. Verbs, prepositions, conjunctions, numbers, basic finger alphabet

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with basic concepts that are related to hearing impairment (the definition of terminology, basic historical approaches and hearing aids).
Students will be able to adapt a short text for persons with hearing impairment and to present a basic conversation in sign language.
