The two-week practice will be implemented in cooperation with facilities in which a social pedagogue can apply. Students will become familiar with the activities of specific facilities and acquire their own experience working with target groups (e.g. low-threshold facilities, civic associations engaged in counseling activities, clubs at primary and secondary schools, facilities for substitute family care, non-profit organizations providing leisure activities and various social services, etc.). Students get to know the facility, staff and clients. After agreement with the head of practice, they will choose a group or individual with whom they will meet regularly. During these hearings, students gain a basic understanding of the habits of a group or individual and the way of pedagogical work. During this part of the internship, students will be involved in the activities of the facility and the activation of clients.
