Course content
|
The practice will be implemented in an organization that is profiled in the education of children and youth, eventually to help adults in their leisure time. It's mostly observant. Students are expected to prepare and organize leisure activities (or parts thereof) as directed and supervised by a mentor. In the course of practice, students will create a portfolio of organizations and a comprehensive diary of their work on the basis of methodology for practice, demonstrating that they have prepared and implemented a specified number of practical activities. Part of the work from practice will be detailed self-reflection, which will include evaluation of individual work and fulfillment of practice goals.

Learning outcomes
|
Continuous practice is individual and is focused on acquiring the basic skills in an institution, which focuses on the education of children and youth, and adults in the area of leisure.
The student learns communication with the target group, assists in leading selected activities, learns to plan, prepare and implement activities.

Prerequisites
|
First of all the students are due to pass a range of pedagogical subjects and in all cases they must be legally capable to work with children and the youth (i.e. it is not probihited for them to work with children and the youth), and adults.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio, Seminar Work
The student must register for the internship. The conditions for registration are listed on the educational portal https://ipraxe.upol.cz/. The student is obliged to adhere to the agreed number of hours at the workplace, i.e. at least 6 hours a day (i.e. 100% attendance). The student is expected to conscientiously complete the tasks assigned by the department at the workplace, and is also expected to actively participate in activities assigned by the mentor during the internship. The student is obliged to submit the first version of the final thesis and internship diary (according to the methodological form) within two weeks of the date of completion of the internship; recognition is a condition for granting credit. The student must be present at the introductory and final meetings for the internship (according to the current schedule). Students with ISP (after agreement with the internship mentor) complete the internship in the same way as students of the distance learning program, according to the valid methodology.
