Introduction to Basic First Aid Life-threatening conditions (unconsciousness, resuscitation, severe bleeding, airway obstruction) Non-traumatic emergencies: acute chest pain, stroke, diabetes mellitus, epilepsy, hyperventilation, shortness of breath, anaphylaxis, intoxication Traumatic conditions

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquire basic skills in providing first aid. After completing the course, the student should be able to perform basic lay first aid procedures at the scene of an accident, provide care for an unconscious patient, administer initial treatment for injuries with severe bleeding, and carry out diagnosis and initial treatment.

Acquired Competencies After completing the course, the student will be able to: Assess the condition of an injured person Apply basic first aid knowledge in real-life situations Propose a first aid procedure for selected scenarios and subsequently apply it in practice Recognize the importance of providing first aid
