Course content
|
The student will become familiar with the issue of CAN syndrome - physical and psychological abuse; neglect; sexual abuse; domestic violence; prevention of CAN syndrome and the role of the social pedagogue, legislation, etc. Study support is available in Moodle.

Learning outcomes
|
The seminar deals with the causes and solution of CAN syndrome with abused children and youth. It is concerned with prevention of this phenomenon in our contemporary society.
Ability of recognition of the causes and resolutions of Syndrom CAN.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written exam, Final project
The acquired knowledge will be verified by a written test. Students must have at least 80% class attendance. Students with an individual education plan will create an intervention campaign related to the issue of the subject (e.g. CAN syndrome, sexual abuse, domestic violence, violence against children, abuse...); must have at least 50% participation in classes.
