Course content
Conversational topics, listening exercises, vocabulary on a range of topics, professional terminology. To successfully complete the course, all assignments and written colloquium must be completed. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.

Learning outcomes
At present, the emphasis in the academic world is on knowledge of foreign languages: especially on productive skills in the field of writing and speaking. Within this course, students should build on communicative knowledge of a foreign language. Emphasis is placed on communication - the student must spontaneously express himself on a rich range of topics in the field of media, at the same time practicing more complex grammatical phenomena and supplementing vocabulary, including professional terminology. Working with text - presentation of a professional topic and preparation of media output. To fulfill the requirements: Students have to gain 10 credits. Students choose combinations of subjects and examination according to their language proficiency: Option A - pre-intermediate: KMS/KECJ1 (1 credits) + KMS/KECJ2 (1) + KMS/KECMP (3) + KMS/KECOT (3) + KMS/KECJA (2) Option B - intermediate: KMS/KECMP (3) + KMS/KECOT (3) + KMS/KECJB (4) Option C - perfect knowledge of the foreign language: KMS/KECJC (10)
After finishing the course students will have managed predetermined conversational areas, including listening exercises, a significant amount of new vocabulary, including the basics of professional terminology.
Prerequisites
The course is designed for students who have completed subjects KMS/KECJ1 and KMS/KECJ2.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Seminar Work

Active participation during lessons, pass the test successfully (70%), work with predetermined texts - reading, analysis, translation.
