Course content
1. Preliminary questions the inclusion of the Beatitudes in their historical and biblical context and explain their basic structure. 2. 'Blessed are the poor in spirit ". Man and what transcends him. 3. "Blessed are crying." Man and cultivating its relationship to its surroundings. 4. 'Blessed are the meek. " Man and nonviolence. 5. 'Blessed are hungry and thirsty for justice ". Man and culture within. 6. "Blessed are the merciful." Man and mercy as a lifestyle. 7. "Blessed are the pure in heart." Man and his inner journey. 8. "Blessed are the peacemakers." Man and insight. 9. "Blessed are the persecuted for righteousness'. Human life and strength. 10. Beatitudes as an invitation for life journey.

The course aims to strengthen the spiritual identity of the worker in the helping professions as a defense against professional and personal burnout - integrating his/her work into the broader general human and spiritual context.

Prerequisites
This is by Jesus' Beatitudes inspired course. For participant is therefore expected openness to the message of the Christian gospel; Preferably, but not a condition, the previous education in the philosophical and theological areas or Christian practice.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

To obtain the credit is required at least 80% attendance, active participation in discussions and essay length of 2500 characters including spaces as instructed by the teacher to ladislav.heryan@gmail.com address.
