Course content
Social pedagogy deals with the anchorage and concept of Czech and foreign social pedagogy. Further it points out the development of social pedagogy as a discipline from its roots until the state of today (including the legislative position of graduates of social pedagogy in practice). It also presents a typology of environment and its relation to education. This subject is concerned with the natural environments and its effect on upbringing of an individual as well as it presents cocepts and surveys of values and the role of masmedia in today's society.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
Based on literature and tasks during tutorials students will gain the knowledge of social pedagogy as a scientific discipline as well as the relation between education and different types of environment, which will be essential for their further studies. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students will gain knowledge of social pedagogy as a science field and relation between education and environment, which is necessary for their further study and practice.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

Active participation in the tutorials and passing the final examination test (at least 70%). The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
