Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the module is to provide students with a theoretical foundation for working with children and young people, and to familiarise them with the current state of social work in the Czech Republic. Students will learn how to apply general knowledge of social work theories and methods in their work with children and young people. Students will describe and analyse a selected topic focusing on a group of children and young people.

Assessment methods and criteria

Credit is awarded for a submitted and approved seminar paper of at least one standard page (1,800 characters). When citing references, students must follow ČSN ISO 690 and ČSN ISO 690-2. Content of the seminar paper: The student shall describe one issue relating to children and young people; The text must address the causes, a description of the situation and its characteristics; The text must not contain impressions, opinions or feelings; The paper may focus on an individual, a group or a collective.
