Seminar topics: 1. Public administration - basic concepts. 2. State administration - introduction. 3. Self-government - introduction. 4. Administrative law - the concept of administrative law, its subject, development and system. 5. Sources of administrative law I - the Constitution of the Czech Republic and constitutional rules, national and international treaties, laws. 6. Sources of administrative law II - governmental orders, ministries´regulations, municipal and regional generally binding ordinances, statutory regulations and international regulations of administrative bodies. 7. Forms of public administrativion activities I - public administration sub-law and law-making activities. 8. Forms of public administration activities II - administrative decisions, concept, division, requisities, defects. Attributes of administrative decisions. Validity, legality and enforceability. 9. Forms of public administration activities III - public contracts. 10. Forms of public administration activities IV - measures of a general nature.

Learning outcomes |
Teaching is aimed at professional legal language. The emphasis is put on practicing all language skills in relation to professional language used in administrative law.
Students who have completed this subject will deepen knowledge and skills in the field of technical legal terminology and they will become familiar with Anglo-American legal system. |

Completion of this subject is conditional upon successful completion of the subject CJB2A.

Student performance
In order to get the credit it is essential that the students have a regular attendance in the scope set by the seminar leader. The students must also complete the tasks assigned by the teacher. |
