Course content

Knowledge of theoretical bases of immunology enabling an understanding of physiological immune mechanisms in health, pathologies of the immune system, reaction on infections with special emphasis on eye and ocular immunology.

Learning outcomes
|
Student will acquire basic knowledge from immunology (structure and function of immune system, its regulation etc.), which he/she will exploit for understanding of major mechanisms of immunopathological disorders with prospective application in optometrics.
Student will be able to implement acquired knowledge namely in practice.
