Course content
Individual consultations focused on the preparation of the bachelor's thesis: formulation of the topic, identification and analysis of primary sources, literature review, selection of an appropriate methodological approach, and ongoing discussion of the research project. The course also includes securing a thesis supervisor and submitting the thesis topic in the STAG system.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is the independent preparation of the bachelor's thesis through individual consultations. The student formulates a topic, identifies suitable primary sources, conducts a literature review, and selects an appropriate methodological approach. At the same time, the student independently secures a thesis supervisor, with whom they consult their project, and submits the thesis topic to the STAG system via an electronic form no later than 30 April.
The student is able to independently produce a bachelor's thesis.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites include basic familiarity with academic literature and primary sources, as well as the ability to formulate an academic text.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

Active participation in individual consultations, continuous preparation of materials (topic proposal, list of sources and literature, formulation of the research project), and fulfilment of administrative requirements, in particular securing a thesis supervisor and submitting the thesis topic in the STAG system no later than 30 April.
