Course content
Books, which are classified and with signatures from last year, will be cataloged. Students continue in the catalog of the collection, according to international rules ISBD(A), along with a description of a specimen's characters (bond, ownership and reading notes, state of preservation) - all with the help of a lecturer. Learning outcomes
The internship in the Archbishopric library is intended for BA students. First introduction of collection for trainees is in the building of the library (Wurmova street, Olomouc), other lessons will be in computer schoolroom of the department of history (every wednesday or tuesday afternoon). The extend of the internship is at least 96 hours per semester. In the first lesson participants of the course will learn how to catalog old prints in the MS Access and they will arrange their time schedule for a realization of the internship. Succesful students will receive credits and the certificate of completion of the practice, which may be useful in their later application for a professional employment. PZ
