Course content
Students will engage in a wide range of activities at the workplace - they will become familiar with pre-archival and archival care of both medical and non-medical documentation at University Hospital Olomouc (FNOL), as well as with FNOL's electronic records management system. They will also be introduced to the day-to-day operations of the institution.

Learning outcomes
The professional internship at the Central Registry Department (OCS) of University Hospital Olomouc is intended for undergraduate (bachelor's) students. It takes place directly within the institution. The internship requires a minimum of 96 hours per semester. In the first week of the semester, all enrolled students attend a joint meeting with the OCS specialist responsible for student supervision. During this meeting, in addition to the initial training, students will arrange a time schedule according to which they will complete their internship. In addition to receiving credit for the internship, each student will be issued a certificate confirming the completion of the internship, including a description of the specific tasks performed and an evaluation of their work. This certificate can serve as a valuable reference when seeking employment in the field after graduation.
