Course content
|
Work in laboratory - basic treatment of finds, preservatory and restoring, drawn and photographical documentation, physical evidence and stocktaking, teaching of PC evidence to archaeological databases program.

Learning outcomes
|
Students gain more experience of laboratory treatment of archaeological finds, its preservatory, restoring, drawn and photographical documentation, evidence and stocktaking. Teaching is realized by individual visits and common work of laboratory workers with student. Practice could be realized at patners departments - Archaeological centre Olomouc, National Monument Institution, ú. o. p. in Olomouc and Archaia Olomouc, where profesionall workers of these institutions lead this practice. Subject is realized in three semestres and students have to work 25 hours at each semester. Each practice is finished by independent credit.
Students gain more experience with work in archaeological laboratory.

Prerequisites
|
Basic orientation in single work processes in archaeological laboratory, which students gain during bachelor´s study in subject Documentation and evidence of archaeological finds or Introduction to study of Archaeology.

|
Student performance
(1) Excursion - student has to work 25 hours in each semester - 1 credit (students choose individualy work time).
