Learning outcomes |
This course surveys the principal cultural processes in the prehistory, protohistory and medieval period in Czech Republic, viewed from the point of view of a regional archaeological research. It provides students with some basic knowledge of the most important archaeological sites in Bohemia and Moravia put in the social, historical and cultural contexts. Recommended readings contain a supplementary material enlighting either the subsidiary topics or the material that may be more difficult to comprehend. A study trip will be a complementary part of the lectures. The course is designed particularly for foreign students of history and archaeology coming in the frame of the Erasmus+ programme.
