Learning outcomes
|
Students are familiar with Neolithic and Eneolithic settlements in central Europe. Characteristics of individual archaeological cultures: geography, environment, chronology, settlement structure and settlement sites, burial sites, material culture, society and contacts.
Orientation in the studied issue, ability to interpret the cultural development of the Neolithic and Eneolithic in central Europe, and overview of the current literature on the given problem.

Prerequisites

Basic orientation in prehistory, theory and methodology of archaeological research.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam, Student performance, Seminar Work
Attend entrance turitorial - 1 hour: acquainted with content and form of study subject, choice of study literature. Attend a study programme at UP the whole day: 4 seminars dedicated to selected topics and expert discussion on them. Consultations: consultations are not least the two at the beginning and at the end of the semester: determination of the procedure of individual studies and establishing tasks. When students need it, they can establish more consultations. Students can select the form of consultation with lecturers - personal, by email, skype, facebook etc. The study is controlled by a series of tasks, which student does between consultations. The subject is finished by attestation by Credits and Oral Examination.
