Course content
|
Lessons of conservation and restoration of archaeological glass artefacts. Practical exercises with archaeological glass finds. Mechanical cleaning, conservation and restoration of glass artefacts. Practices of photographic documentation. Digital processing of photographic documentation in graphic software (e.g. Gimp).

Learning outcomes
|
Acquiring of the practical experiences with processing of the archaeological glass material. Photographical documentation of archaeological artefacts.
Knowledge of techniques in conservation and restoration of archaeological glass artefacts. Gaining skills in - conservation and restoration of archaeological glasses and photographic documentation of archaeological artefacts.

The basic overview in the archaeological cultures in the Central Europe.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analysis of Activities ( Technical works), Systematic Observation of Student
Attend entrance turitorial - 1 hour: acquainted with contein and form of study subject, delivery resource materials and seletction work theme. Attend at running tutorial: four seminars on theme DEA5. Consultations - Consultations are two at least at the beggining and in the end of semester at least: determination of procedure of individual studies and establish tasks. When student need, he can establish more consultations. Student can select form of consultation with lecturers - personal, by email, skype, facebook etc. Control of study is solved as tasking of series tasks in e-learning requisite EDIS and student discharg it during the semester.
