Course content
|
Lectures on laboratory processing, conservation and restoration. Practices with archaeological pottery finds. Basic treatment of the pottery, conservation and restoration, description of assemblages and digital processing of archaeological data in database software (e.g. Museion).

Learning outcomes
|
Acquiring practical experience with the processing of archaeological material and museum registers.
Knowledge of techniques in laboratory processing of archaeological artefacts and samples. Gaining skills in - conservation and restoration of archaeological pottery and museum registers.

Prerequisites
|
The basic overview in the archaeological cultures in the Central Europe.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analysis of Activities ( Technical works), Systematic Observation of Student
Activity in seminar lessons, fulfillment of assigned tasks, individual work, parallel tuitions with lecturer.
