Course content
|
Specific content of each semester will be specified depending on actual possibilities of research of different sites. Contents: A. Theoretical introduction to data collection. B. Field practice (approx. 1 x 8 hours, transport costs included). C. Laboratory practice. 6. Cleaning of the material or processing of photos from aerial prospection 7. Group workshop (classification of finds according to used material and chronology, interpretation of situations recorded with aerial survey 8. Introducing data in the system of museum/archival evidence 9. Photography of archaeological artefacts 10. Completion of Excavation report D. Field practice - individual prospection (mostly fieldwalking) on selected sites and its evaluation

Learning outcomes
|
Active participation in archaeological research of different type (fieldwalking, sample collection etc.) in different regions (mostly Central Moravia, i. e. Olomouc Region). This semester is dedicated to a given topic - terrain relics. Students will master specific prospection methods.
Good orientation in the problematics. Preparation for individual work in the field - ability to complete Excavation reports.

Absolving the course of archaeological research and orientation in archaeologist´s work.

Student performance
Active participation in the courses of at least teaching 50 hours.
