The practice follows the "Metody interdisciplinárního výzkumu" (Methods of interdisciplinary research) subject. Particular lessons (practices) enable the students to practically use the acquired theoretic knowledge. Under the guidance of a teacher or of academics of partnership institutes, the students will for instance take samples from excavations for different types of environmental analyses and contribute to analyse them at academic institutes, prepare samples for archaeobotanical analyses, participate on geophysical survey of archaeological locations, on aerial archaeology etc. The lessons are individual the student chooses from currently available activities. The practice can be done also at the Faculty of Science of Palacký University, at the "Archeologické centrum Olomouc" (Olomouc Archaeological Centre), at the "Národní památkový ústav Olomouc" (National Heritage Institute in Olomouc) and at the Archaia Olomouc, and it can be co-supervised by academics of these institutes.
