Learning outcomes
|
Seminar is focused on complex and detailed description of a Neolithic settlement. Neolithic settlement strategies will be dealt during classes - role of environment in selection of proper location to settlement, role of distance between a road and settlement, location of strategical sources, settlement tradition etc. Seminar deal with spacial relations between settlements and burial grounds,location of cults, trading and manufacturing areas; as well as mutual space relations in settlements, burial grounds and manufacturing areas. These c topics will be presented on Bohemian and Moravian examples but also on localities in neighbouring countries.
Extension of knowledge in studied problematics.

Prerequisites

The BA level of knowledge in problematics of Neolithic and Eneolithic is necessary for the attendance of seminar.
