Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students to basic information in the field of remote sensing of the Earth. Lectures cover knowledge of basic definitions, division of methods, physical nature, spectral manifestations of individual types of surfaces to aerial photography and basic satellite systems. During the course, the student will also go through the whole process of image processing from a theoretical and practical point of view.
The course focuses on the acquisition of knowledge. Define key terms, describe the main approaches to demonstrate theoretical knowledge for solving problems.
Prerequisites
Common knowledge of IT (working on a PC) at the secondary school level.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Analysis of Activities ( Technical works), Seminar Work

Knowledge of topics within the content of the course. (Elaboration of individual exercises, attendance at seminars, written exam).
