Topics: 1. Introduction to spatial data policy, terminology 2. Standardization in geoinformatics and cartography 3. Metadata 4. Copyright and related issues 5. Cartographic products, their protection and possibilities of use 6. Geoinformatics products, their protection and possibilities of use 7. Licensing of geodata, open data 8. International spatial data policy 9. Development of spatial data policy in the Czech Republic 10. Spatial data policy in the Czech Republic 11. Resort approaches, ministries 12. Conceptual documents and future development 13. Use of knowledge in practice Students create a seminar thesis within the course, where they apply newly acquired knowledge.
