Learning outcomes

The course provides detailed information about the concept of Map Use and its importance in the process of map design. The topics are oriented so that students can actively use the acquired knowledge in practice.
The student will gain knowledge for the design, evaluation, and implementation of research in the field of Map Use. An important issue is the acquisition of basic knowledge, which the student implements in practice.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of the basics of cartography. Knowledge of the process of cartographic creation (map design) in GIS software.

Seminar Work, Written exam
The requirements are knowledge of the basics of cartography and the student's ability to carry out work according to the assignment using the acquired knowledge.
