1. Work safety and fire protection at UP 2. Mode of operation in computer classrooms of the department 3. E-learning, UPOL e-learning portal and information portal of the Department of Geoinformatics 4. University information portal and STAG 5. GIS terminology 6. Academic writing in geoinformatics 7. Citations and ethics of citation 8. Electronic information sources in UPOL 9. Study, approaches in learning and examination regulations 10. Coordinate systems 11. Presentation and professional interpretation

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce the student to the study of geoinformatics and cartography at the Faculty of Science, UP and student duties.

Responsible approach student.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of Activities ( Technical works)

To be awarded the credit, 100% participation in seminars is required (max. 25% of absences are allowed, which must be excused) and worksheets submitted and received with a score of min. 66% (no worksheet may be awarded 0 points).
