Course content
The seminar is based on application of geographical knowledge and methods on the area of Europe. Emphasis is put on individual work with relevant sources and geographical databases, including ability to present knowledge and react in discussion of selected topic. A didactic form, team work and peer-to-peer feedback evaluation are encouraged for the presentations.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Demonstration, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Attendace - 20 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 10 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 60 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students, by means of didactic presentations, will actively extend their knowledge on regional issues in physical and social geography of Europe.
Explain geographical organization of Europe, deepen active knowledge and skills.
Prerequisites
Knowledge within the scope of lectures on regional geography of Europe and didactics of geography.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student

Team didactic presentation of a topic from the regional geography of Europe and written evaluation of presentations of all other teams.
