Course content
Seminar is conceived as a semestral project proceeding from working hypothesis through definition of objectives, research to interpretation of results. Project are concerned with a selected problem within a wider concept of services and retail (for instance with analysis of shopping behaviour, spatial differentiation of selected retail chains, analysis of municipal facilities etc.). Students work in groups, project is aimed at particular area (city, region).

Learning outcomes
The purpose of the seminar is a practical project related to a selected problem within geography of services and retail.
Analyse proposed selected problem within a concept of services and retail.
Prerequisites
Knowledge within the scope of the course Human Geography 2, or Economic Geography for Education.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

Participation in theoretical preparation, strict presence at the test of theoretical knowledge, passing the level of points. Active participation in given tasks in given time intervals.
