Course content
|
The course is conducted as five stand-alone on-day field trips (or fewer more-day trips). Such field trips aim to practically apply the knowledge acquired in individual geographical disciplines. Students will visit important physical geographical and settlement places in model areas. Localities' natural and socio-economic potential will be assessed, as well as their possibilities for improvement. Students are expected to participate financially in paying their travel costs, entrance fees, or accommodation.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to enable students to understand the physical geographical and human geographical phenomena in region.
Upon the completion of the course, students will be able to explain the physical geographical and human geographical phenomena in selected places/regions. Students will be able to present their findings using a variety of audiovisual techniques and media.

Prerequisites
|
Elementary knowledge in Physical Geography and Human Geography and ability to travel independently.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Seminar Work, Audiovisual documentary
Active participation. Collection of materials in the visited destinations, their evaluation and subsequent oral presentation supported by self-created audiovisual support.
