Course content
Position of industry in national economy, development phases (industrialization, industrial revolution, globalization), locational factors of distribution of industrial production, locational models, classification of industry and geographical methods of assessment of industry, branch outlines - fuels and energetics, metallurgy, machinery, chemistry etc., influence of industrial production on environment.

Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
  • Preparation for the Exam - 70 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 20 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students will be acquainted with geographical organization of industry production in the World and regions.
Recall basic terms and concepts used in geography of industry.
Prerequisites
Knowledge within the scope compulsory subjects that precede this subject in the study plan.
