Geographical-political position of the Czech Republic, historical-geographical development of Czech lands, public administration and its development, population and settlement structure, industry and its branch structure, agriculture, forestry and water management, transport, retail, services, tourism and recreation, economic integration into EU structures and global economy, geographical regionalization - socioeconomic regions.

Learning outcomes

Students will be acquainted with the basic themes of geographical structure of the socioeconomic sphere of the Czech Republic.
Identify main socio-economic geographical phenomena and spatial organization of the Czech Republic.
