Course content
In lectures students will be acquainted with concept of geography, including detailed system of geographical sciences with emphasis on definition of study objects of partial geographical disciplines. Besides that students will be acquainted with basic trends in development of geographical thought in our country and abroad. Attention will be also paid to organizations, where geographers are active and to geographical literature and sources.

Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to present geography as a scientific discipline.
Recall object and subject of the geographical studies.
Prerequisites
Knowledge within the scope of secondary school geography.

Written exam

Knowledge of the basic curriculum.
