|
Guides for elaboration of diploma theses, methods of geological research with specialisation on the theme of the thesis. Work with geological literature. Student's presentation of the results of literature search on the theme of the diploma work, discussion.
The students should know the general structure of a diploma thesis, and be able to choose suitable methods of geological research applicable to the theme of the thesis. They will be able to work with geological literature and first results of their research.

Assessment methods and criteria

Student performance
The student will show 15-minute presentation concerning the theme of diploma thesis (usually results of literature search + first results of own work). In the ensuing discussion the student answers questions. The report in corresponding extent is also submitted to the thesis supervisor.
