Course content
The seminar focuses on the guided reading of passages from Thomas Aquinas, especially his Summa Theologica. The selected excerpts are to introduce Thomas' answers regarding key problems of systematic philosophy. The stress is put on fundamental metaphysical questions.

Work with Text (with Book, Textbook)
Learning outcomes
The student will learn to interpret a medieval philosophical text in context.
The students will learn to interpret a primary source text and use secondary literature.
Prerequisites
Ability to understand basic philosophical texts in Latin.
