The candidate can choose one of three options: 1st The examination of the history of European and American philosophy, basic recommended literature are some history of philosophy, for example, HJ Störig, Little History of Philosophy and Philosophical Dictionary (collective authors), Olomouc 1998 (second edition), the exam is required reading primary philosophical literature (in reasonable range). 2nd Write an essay on the philosophical issue, which is close to student's vocational interests (essay topic should be agreed with the examiner) and the oral exam based on the issue of essays. 3rd States of a foreign-language translation of the philosopher of their choice student (choice of paper to be agreed with the examiner), which have not yet been translated into Czech, the translation is accompanied by doktorand own commentary. The test is focused on the philosophical problems of translation and its broader philosophical context. |
