Course content
The subject is the basic introductory course for following studies of all economic related types of studies conomic disciplines. 1. Basic economic terms (the subject of economics, sturcture of economics, needs, goods, services, comodities, ecomic process, basic economic systems) 2. Market mechanisms ( basic features of the mechanisms, market, demand, factors effecting demand, flexibility of demand) 3. Supply (connection between supply and demand, market equilibrium) 4. Other markets ( types of markets: production factors, financial markets ) 5. Follow up features of the market mechanisms ( monopoly, unemployment, inflation ) 6. The role of the state in the market economy ( position of the state in the market economy, the state representing demand and supply, government economics policy, government failure in market economy) 7. Tools of the government economics policy (monetary policy, fiscal policy, business policy, pension and social policy) 8. The efficiency of the economics policy ( magical n-angles, Phillips curve, central bank, time factor in fiscal and monetary policy) 9.Agregates of the national economy ( living status, measuring flows in the national economy, methods of calculation of the GDP, other national measurements) 10. Economical growth of the market economy ( economic growth and its rate, economic cycle, types of development of the market economy) 11. Foreign market (types, risks, export and import operations, tax duty and tax duty policy, international business and its advantages) 12. Banks and their role in the national economy ( money, forms of money, establishment of banks, functions of commercial banks and their operations, loans, electronic banking, functions and position of the central bank) 13. Ekonomic integration, world and european monetary system (transnacional corporation, historic development and establishment, ecnomical integration of Europe, integration groupment, the most important international economical institutions important for the Czech republic and common currency, European central bank) 14. National economy (sectors of national economy, structure of national economy based of the principles of financing, public economy )

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to enable the students to gain basic orientation in economic featuresand processes, gain first-rate for further economic studies.
Participation in lectures will make it easier for the student to gain basic orientation in economic features and processes and gain first-rate base for further economical studies.
