Course content
Vibrational spectroscopy IR (infrared) spectroscopy - theory and reality of molecular vibrations, fundamental vibrations of N-atom molecules, characteristic wavenumbers of vibrations of several functional groups, experimental setup, exploitation of vibrational absorption Raman spectroscopy (RS) - comparison with IR, selection rules, principle, Stokes and anti-Stokes, exploitation Resonance Raman spectroscopy (RRS) - principle and application Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) - principle, nanoparticles of noble metals, detection on single-molecule level, applications Others sophisticated techniques of RS/SERS: micro-Raman, NSOM, TERS Emise Jablonského diagram, fluorescence - zopakování základních pravidel, kvantový výtěžek, doba života excitovaného stavu, fluorescenční značky a jejich využití, fluorescenční mikroskopie, fluorescenční rezonanční přenos energie (FRET) Emission Jablonski diagram, fluorescence - repetition of basic rules, quantum yield, lifetime, fluorescence markers and their exploitation, fluorescence microscopy, fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) Opakování základů NMR Repetition of NMR basics Základy Moessbauerovy spektroskopie Basics of Moessbauer spectroscopy
