1. Scanning tunneling microscopy 2. Atomic force microscopy 3. Atomic and molecular manipulation 4. Advanced spectroscopies such as STS, IETS, KPFM, force-spectroscopy 5. Sub molecular imaging of organic molecules 6. Relation to fields of molecular electronics, 2D materials, spintronics, on-surface chemistry etc.
