Block 1: Introduction to the World of Artificial Intelligence This block provides students with a fundamental overview of artificial intelligence (AI) and its main principles. Students will be introduced to AI concepts, including an overview of the most significant AI models. The block focuses on explaining what AI is, how it works, and its key applications across various fields, with a special emphasis on the potential uses of AI in physiotherapy. Block 2: Developing AI Skills and Increasing Productivity In this block, students will learn the practical skills necessary for effectively using AI tools. The course offers tutorials and exercises focused on creating and optimizing prompts and applying AI in various situations, such as information retrieval, problem-solving, or data analysis. Students will also learn how AI tools can be used to enhance their personal productivity, including time management, task organization, and improving learning efficiency. Block 3: AI in Physiotherapy This module focuses on the potential applications of AI in both physiotherapy education and clinical practice. Students will learn how AI can complement traditional educational approaches and how it can be used in diagnostics, treatment planning, and more. Block 4: Ethical Aspects and Guidelines for Using AI The final block of the course addresses ethical issues related to the use of AI and university policies and guidelines for its proper and responsible use. Students will learn about ethical challenges, such as data privacy, transparency in AI decision-making processes, and potential impacts on professional practice. The aim of this course is to introduce physiotherapy students to the world of artificial intelligence (AI) and its practical applications in their field. The course focuses on developing skills in using AI to streamline the study process, enhance personal productivity, and support the creation of scientific work. Emphasis is also placed on the ethical aspects of using AI and on university/faculty guidelines regarding its use.
The course is intended for first and second-year students of the Bachelor's degree program in Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University Olomouc (FTK UPOL). |
Prerequisites |
Basic computer literacy, basic knowledge of English terminology. The student should have their own laptop or tablet.
