Course content
Thematic areas: Massage means. Massage hygiene. Operating rules of the massage parlor. History of reflex massages. Basic touches of reflex massages. Division of massages. Indications and contraindications of reflex massage. Reflexology massage - developmental aspects, diagnostics, dosage, sets. Reflex shifts. Effects of reflex massage. Reflexology massage - dorsal set. Reflexology massage - neck set. Reflexology massage - pelvic set. Reflexology massage - chest set.

Learning outcomes
The course enables to master the knowledge and skills needed for rehabilitation practice: segmental reflex technique massages by Dalicho and Gläser. After completing the course, the student will gain a general theoretical overview of massage techniques, knows and controls the mechanisms of the effect of Swedish, sports and reflex massage.
After completing the course, the student knows the segmental technique of reflex massage by Dalicho and Gläser, has a general theoretical overview of massage techniques, knows the mechanisms of the effect of Swedish, sports and reflex massage.
Prerequisites
anatomy and physiology of the human body with emphasis on the autonomic nervous system
KFA/TMAS1 and KFA/ZKV2 and KPK/FYZF2

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Dialog, Systematic Observation of Student

100% participation in seminars, knowledge of practical implementation of touches and sets of segmental reflexology techniques, knowledge of theoretical background of massage.
