1. Palpatory anatomy of the shoulder girdle and upper arm. 2. Palpatory anatomy of the forearm and hand. 3. Palpatory anatomy of the pelvic girdle and thigh. 4. Palpatory anatomy of the knee joint, lower leg, and foot. 5. Palpatory anatomy of the head and neck. 6. Palpatory anatomy of the trunk. 7. Course review and practical assessment.

Learning outcomes
|
The objective of the course is to deepen students' knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy through practical palpation of individual anatomical structures. Students will acquire the basic principles of palpation examination and learn to locate and identify selected bony landmarks, muscles, tendons, and other superficially accessible structures, while relating their anatomical location to their function. Emphasis is placed on spatial orientation within individual body regions, the relationships between anatomical structures, and their practical identification through palpation.
The student applies acquired knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy in practical training and clinical practice. The student is able to locate and identify selected bony landmarks, muscles, tendons, and other superficially accessible anatomical structures by palpation, understand their spatial relationships, and relate their anatomical position to their function.

Prerequisites
|
A prerequisite for taking this course is a sufficient knowledge of anatomy.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Dialog, Written exam
100% attendance at seminars and continuous completion of assigned study tasks, including ongoing anatomy tests related to the body regions covered in the course. Successful completion of the continuous assessment requirements is a prerequisite for admission to the final theoretical test. To complete the course, students must also successfully pass a colloquium in the form of a practical examination, during which they demonstrate the ability to locate and identify selected anatomical structures by palpation. Students are allowed a maximum of three attempts.
