Course content
The course includes practical demonstrations and participation in aquatic exercises, focusing on the most common musculoskeletal disorders (post-traumatic and post-operative conditions, vertebrogenic disorders, and degenerative diseases of the weight-bearing joints of the lower limbs) as well as the specialized application of hydrokinesiotherapy (specifics regarding gynecology and obstetrics, and treatment for pediatric and geriatric patients). It also covers fitness training and aquatic exercises for healthy individuals (swimming technique improvement, aqua aerobics). Students are introduced to safety protocols for patient movement in an aquatic environment.

Learning outcomes
The student acquires practical skills and experience in hydrokinesiotherapytherapeutic exercise in an aquatic environment.
The student is capable of conducting individual and group therapeutic exercise sessions in an aquatic environment (in a pool).
Prerequisites
The student is a swimmeri.e., capable of swimming 200 m without apparent difficulty. This prerequisite is met by successfully completing the course KAS/PLF.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Seminar Work

Materials: equipment for pool-based instruction (swimwear, and optionally a swim cap, goggles, and a towel) Preparation: preparing a lesson plan (seminar paper) and conducting one hydrokinesiotherapy session for a selected diagnosis
