Course content
1. Mathematical logic and sets, algebraic expressions. 2. Functions and their properties, description of elementary functions, trigonometric formulas and their use. 3. Equations with one variable, equations with parameters, linear and quadratic inequalities. 4. Coordinate systems, points and vectors, scalar and vector product, description of lines and planes. 5. Additional topics from differential and integral calculus, vector spaces, or complex numbers.

Learning outcomes
The course focuses on the secondary mathematics (algebraic expressions, elementary functions, basic equations, vector calculus, ...) and partially on the undergraduate mathematics and physics. The obtained skills will help with solving and understanding topics within the upcoming physics courses.
